WEBINAR: Gleaning the Meaning: Evaluation Basics June 30
$89/student or $150/site
Do you cringe when an RFP calls for each grantee to submit an evaluation of their project? This webinar, taught by Funding Exchange President/CEO Sharon Gherman, is a “connect the dots” orientation to evaluations. We’ll answer the most common questions about evaluating projects; introduce terms used by evaluators and explain in English what they mean; provide guidelines to help you decide whether you can perform the evaluation with your own staff or need to hire an evaluator; what to do when you decide to perform your own evaluation; and how to use evaluation results to get more out of your projects.
July 2010
WEBINAR: How Do I Fix THIS? IT Tips for Small Organizations July 15
$89/student or $150/site
Small organizations may lack a dedicated information technology professional to help them fix issues that arise with their computers and printers. Is there a logical way to decide when you should call a repairman to fix your equipment? And are there simple fixes you can complete yourself? Ron Gherman, Funding Exchange IT Director and Board officer, directs Instructional Technology for the Fairbanks School District. He’ll present a checklist to complete before spending money for an outside repairman, discuss the most common simple repairs small organizations can fix themselves, and answer your IT questions in this 90-minute webinar.
Grantwriting Intensive (Anchorage, Alaska) July 26-30
$999/student
A hands-on class where students practice grantwriting while they learn, this is the best class to take if you need to be able to write effective grant proposals NOW.
