Fairbanks Sustainable Pathways: Building Financially Healthy Organizations
Sustainable Pathways: Building Financially Healthy Organizations is a three-day workshop that assists nonprofit organizational teams to create a sustainable, balanced two-year fundraising plan. Up to three individuals work as a team on their funding plan and complete the training with a written fundraising plan complete with timelines and an assigned task list.
This is an intensive, hands-on class where organizational teams complete a funding plan. Up to two additional members from your organizational team may attend the workshop with you for one registration fee, but all participants must be working on the same funding plan.
Subjects covered in the class include:
- Introduction -- Funding Trends -- Getting Started -- Analyze Your Current Income
- Determine Your Funding Objectives – How to Cut Costs & Save Money -- Develop a Fundraising Strategy
- The Eight Methods of Fundraising -- Membership Program -- Major Donors Program -- Corporate Giving Program
- Special Events Program -- Planned Giving Program -- Grants Program
- Capital Campaigns -- Endowment Campaigns –
- Assigning Tasks to People -- Completing Your Plan & Implementing It
Cost: $1500 per team of up to three people working on the same plan.
One person on the team receives 1 Professional Development Unit. A one time class fee of $45 will be collected on the first day of instruction. Checks for this fee should be made payable to University of Alaska Fairbanks.
