If you write federal or state proposals for your organization, you’ll want to take a look at a new resource the Funding Exchange now offers online to grant writers.
One of the first things our staff does when AFE is contracted to write a proposal is go through the Request for Proposal (RFP) line by line and compile a checklist and timeline specifically for use with that proposal which summarizes the requirements “in English” and lists all the tasks required to complete the application. For $119, the Funding Exchange now makes selected Checklists available for your use in compiling federal and state proposals. You’ll find the Checklist as a link under selected funding opportunities on our web site under “Upcoming Grant Opportunities” . If you don’t find a checklist link for the proposal you’re writing, contact us. As deadlines and staff availability permit, we’ll create checklists on request for popular federal and state opportunities. And check the AFE web site regularly – before you start that next proposal!
